Vice President Of Business Development
CurrentResponsible for driving JANUS’ year-over-year revenue growth. Actively collaborates with Business Unit leaders and technical staff, corporate Directors and executives, and industry teammates to lead, manage, develop, and orchestrate all business development related activities across the company. Responsible for full opportunity lifecycle management to include identifying and maturing opportunities, capture management, developing and maturing a pipeline of new business opportunities, obtaining opportunity pursuits approvals through a gate review process, supporting the development of strong, highly competitive proposals, and working across the company to drive growth.Primary Responsibilities:− Lead, manage, influence, and orchestrate all business development related activities across the company to create and sustain strong year-over-year revenue growth− Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends and forecasted opportunities− Identify opportunities for new or modified service offerings that will lead to increased growth− Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s value propositions and differentiators for opportunities− Research and build relationships with new and prospective clients− Collaborate across the company and with industry teammates to develop capture plans and a related pipeline of opportunities− Work with subject matter experts, assigned proposal staff, and teams to develop highly competitive proposals that address proposal requirements and speak to prospective clients’ needs, concerns, and objectives− Work with stakeholders to ensure that accurate near, mid, and far-term pipeline information is recorded and managed in a way that best supports pipeline reviews, anticipates future resource requirements, and assists in forecasting future revenue− Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and document and present information
