Responsible for managing and directing the delivery of professional development programs for the resident and World Campus undergraduate and graduate programs at the College of IST- as well as the instruction for the internship course which is a requirement for the college's curriculum. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating skills within the Career Solutions unit as well as defining work objectives, plans, priorities and deadlines and delegating routine tasks appropriately. This position manages the budget for the Career Solutions unit. Conducts performance evaluations for staff. Oversees employer relations with corporations that are interested in recruiting students from the College. Manages College's Corporate Associates program and works directly with the Associate Director of Corporate Engagement to increase the volume and quality of companies recruiting in the College of IST. Provides career coaching for College's resident undergraduate and graduate students. Creates new and innovative strategies to enhance Career Solutions brand and services to internal and external constituents. Involved in all decisions that impact the unit which also may impact the college.

Responsible for providing career counseling for over 1300 students within the College of Information Sciences and Technology. Establish and maintain integral corporate relationships, which has assisted the college in achieving high placement statistics (82% placement rate in the 2013-14 school year) Work collaboratively with employers to assist in connecting them with IST students through information sessions, social events, and other on campus recruiting events.
