The Artificial Intelligence and Translational Imaging (ATI) Laboratory at the University of Crete, combines artificial intelligence, tissue engineering, omics analyses and advanced clinical imaging to provide bio-inspired, image-based solutions to complex clinical problems.We specialize in the integration of advanced medical imaging techniques and AI-driven analytics to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and oncological disease. Leveraging state-of-the-art imaging modalities, omics analyses (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, radiomics) and AI algorithms, the group bridges the gap between wet-lab and clinical research with practical applications. The team aims to revolutionize the approach to diagnosing and managing complex diseases, ultimately contributing to better patient care and innovative therapeutic strategies.
