Our research aim is to gain valuable insights into the fundamental causes underlying healthy ageing and age-related diseases (e.g., metabolic disturbances, degenerative diseases, cancer, etc.) in a multidisciplinary systems biology approach. Our translational research, apart from participation in clinical trials, also includes a wide array of high throughput cell-free/cell-based or in vivo assays aiming to identify natural products or small molecules that promote healthy ageing.
- Currently, our “women-ruled” lab employs 4 Postdoctoral Researchers, 4 PhD students, 4 MSc students, and 6 BSc students. We are fond of highly motivated students and technically skilled exceptional scientists with a “can-do” attitude, who share our passion for science. We embrace creativity and a strong team-work spirit in an innovation-friendly work environment.
