Our story began in 1915 when Cloverdale founder Hoy Russell started Mandan Creamery in Mandan, North Dakota. From the day he opened, Russell insisted on uncompromising quality, and his small creamery quickly earned a reputation for supplying the best-tasting, freshest dairy products to area kitchens.
Building on that success, a few years later the company introduced a line of premium pork products that steadily attracted more and more loyal customers, a move that would set the stage for the Cloverdale Foods you know and love today.
