Life Science Cares is a collective effort to activate the financial and human capital of the region’s life sciences industry – and partner with nonprofits – to disrupt the cycle of poverty and inequality in our communities.
The organization helps solve societal problems through active caring, combining grants with supportive services such as volunteerism and thought leadership. Since Life Science Cares launched in Boston in 2016, the organization has grown to include affiliates in biotech hubs Philadelphia, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, and New York as well.
Across all five chapters, it has invested $16,135,251 into our communities, providing substantial grants, gifts, education, leadership interaction, and health services support for deserving nonprofits.
