In 1966, Eka Santosa and Darmawan Putra Totong launched "Toko Tjat Sentosa," a modest paint store on Jakarta's Gajah Mada Street. Initially specializing in paints, their enterprise gradually diversified its offerings to include a wide array of building materials, responding to the growing market demand.
By 1970, the partnership expanded with the addition of Budyanto Totong and Totong Kurniawan, recognizing the potential for broader product distribution. This evolution laid the foundation for CSA, a company dedicated to distributing building materials. Over the years, the company's growth necessitated improved management, leading to the establishment of PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana in December 1983. Further innovation came in 1997 when Budyanto Totong introduced the pioneering concept of "One Stop Shopping" under the Mitra10 brand, catering to shifting consumer preferences and bolstering profitability. This culminated in the Company's public listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in December 2007, adhering to its core mission of trading self-produced goods.
