As an attorney with the Small Business/Self-Employed division of Chief Counsel, I represent the IRS before the United States Tax Court and provide guidance to the field functions of IRS, including Exam and Collections. My cases involve a diverse range of issues, including cross-border matters, digital assets, fraud and micro-captive insurance matters.As an attorney with the Associate Chief Counsel - International, I supported division counsel, field counsel, and the United States Competent Authority on information gathering in foreign countries, exchange of information with foreign countries, competent authority procedures, compliance with tax treaty obligations, and U.S. territory tax matters. ACC-I also assists LB&I and Treasury with the exchange of information aspects of implementing FATCA.

Represented the United States in all phases of tax controversy litigation in federal courts throughout the West, including California, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Washington and Idaho.
