Working at the Australian Department of the Senate Committee of Constitutional and Legal Affairs In this role, I have provided the secretariat support on a variety of senate inquiries. The support I provided included preparing documents for tabling and publication. Organising multiple Senators diaries to ensure private briefings, meetings and public hearings run smoothly and efficiently. Coordinated all necessary aspects of a public hearing such as venue hire and catering. Then finally the preparation and tabling of the final report of the inquiry. I have also undertaken research and written briefings on the cost of living inquiry and made written contributions on the Criminal Code Amendment (Prohibition of Nazi Symbols) Bill 2023. I have operated estimates for several rounds and have always been proficient and effective in the estimates process. As a result I have had the opportunity to act as Research Officer where I primarily take on the estimates duties and preliminary research.I have also been the administration officer of several secretariats including Cost of Living and Work and Care while assisting many others.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programs, Website publications, Liaising and Negotiating with Senators and their offices, Organisation of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs secretariat, problem solving,

My experiences at the ACTHRC, has allowed me to process large volumes of files and cases as well as the ability to effectively liaise between clients and mediators within the organisation. My role included me taking on large volumes of case data and accurately recording this into databases, dealing with a range of clients who would be referred to the appropriate staff member and a variety of administrative roles. The feedback I received was always positive. Whether it be my timelessness accuracy and sensitivity towards the large volume of cases or the calm, patient and reliant approach I took with every phone call.
