Developed multiple libraries for simplifying data processing, instrument control, configuration management, database communication, and building test stand applications. Documented the APIs, usage, and architecture of most of these libraries using Sphinx.Created several engineer oriented tools for processing data in Python with PyQt, wxPython, zmq, and Pandas. These applications often interacted with Excel, performed multi-core processing for performance reasons, and have saved hundreds of engineering hours performing data processing tasks.Created a system of Jupyter notebooks with backing library code to process large amounts of production test data at a time with the goal of producing statistical reports for comparing measurement systems. Heavily utilized seaborn, Pandas, HDF5, and ipywidgets to provide an interface to explore the data.Administrated an Anaconda Repository server for internal software distribution, and drove the effort to change the software deployment process from checking out the code from SVN to installing a package.Set up and administrated a Jenkins server, providing a consistent build environment for libraries and applications. Designed, built, and qualified test stands used to verify the performance of high speed cable assemblies, backplanes, connectors, and raw cable in lab and production environments. Assembled the test stands using Molex produced mechanical components and 3rd party components, including multi-position RF Switches and Keysight instruments. The test stands were controlled by Python applications using PyVISA, wxPython, NumPy, and matplotlib. Statistical qualifications of these systems where conducted by performing statistical correlations with lab measurements, and to 6σ standards using Gage R&Rs.

Verified the accuracy and quality of the technical content for the book Haskell High Performance Programming by providing feedback for each chapter to the author and editing team. This involved ensuring that all code samples were correct and compiled, and providing feedback on how easy it was to understand the content of the book.

Developed Java based web services to be run on JBoss and Apache Tomcat servers using the SOAP and REST protocols. MySQL and Oracle database interaction through Hibernate and the Java Persistence API. Used the ActiveVoS Orchestration engine to control services and integrate with a Drools rule engine. Researched new APIs and tools for their potential and writing tutorials for installing and using them. Profiled web services for speed and accuracy. Developed data processing tools for clients.

Product testing of high speed cables using oscilloscopes and network analysers. Wrote scripts and utilities to process data from multiple formats to Excel and CSV using Excel VBA, VB.NET, Python, and Tcl. Designed and wrote code for automated production line test stands conforming to 6σ standards. Prepared statistical and procedural reports and presentations in Microsoft Office. Developed standardized in-house API for storing and manipulating data, communicating with instruments, and accessing XML configuration files. Migrated old CVS server to SVN and developed a tool to migrate global client machines.
