I am a Senior Deliverable Manager - Technical Writer/Editor. In this position, I work daily with consultants, project managers, and management teams to edit and refine the deliverables for the penetration testing, advisory, and incident response services. During my time as a graduate research assistant for the Department of English at Southeastern Louisiana University, I spent my time as an encoder for the Ruskin Project Literary Archive (Early Ruskin Manuscripts). I had the daily opportunity to complete research assignments and generate XML files in accordance with the early writings of John Ruskin. This allowed me to become proficient in Oxygen XML editor, as well as, Github, and its GUI — Sourcetree. Along with my position as an encoder, I've also had the opportunity to assist with various projects in the Digital Humanities and Publishing departments including: all aspects of the editing and publishing processes for Louisiana Literature, the redesign of The Pick's website, and the production and publication of digital books.I also worked in the University's Writing Center where I conducted orientations and assisted students with issues pertaining to writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.

During my time as an intern for Dzanc Books, Inc., I had the opportunity to work directly with an independent publishing house on a number of projects including copyediting and grant research.I read and evaluated several manuscripts for content and quality to determine possible in-house publishing potential and marketable values, as well as, copyedited manuscripts when available. For the business and marketing aspect of the internship, I conducted grant research for the funding of Dzanc Books' general operations and special community outreach projects and assisted with the house's publicity campaigns and management of social media content.
