Language Education + Multimedia + TechnologySimply put - I am looking for opportunities to combine these three things to create innovative ways for people to learn world languages.For the past 12+ years, I have worked as a private ESL and Japanese teacher, and one key thing this experience has taught me is that language cannot be learned from textbooks alone. Over the years I have come to rely more and more on technology to support and enhance how I teach, and I recognize how powerful a tool technology is for helping students succeed. With this in mind, I want to help take education, especially language education, in new directions.Although I am a language teacher, my background is in multimedia creation (audio/video production and graphic design). I have a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts and a master's degree in Instructional Technology, Media & Design, and I'm seeking ways to combine my interest in multimedia and tech with my passion for teaching languages. Moreover, as an Advanced AI Data Trainer, I have a growing interest in AI technology and how it can be applied to language learning. It is my hope to connect and partner with people in these fields as we work to shape the future of language education.
