Joining the Aflac Team was an eye-opening experience as I jumped head first into the world of insurance. After becoming licensed as an Accident and Health Agent in the state of California, I gained the ability to meet with small business owners and try to find ways to add value to their business and support their employees. In my position, I contacted business owners and found out more about how their business ran and what issues they may have been facing. Over most of my summers in high school, I spent my time working as a production assistant on the set of Texas Flip N Move. Working at Taco Bell over the summer in high school gave me a greater appreciation for working for what I have, and taught me a lot about interacting with customers and taking orders effectively. I actively found new ways to get orders out quickly and effectively and grew in my ability to multitask. -Assessed inventory and restocked daily to minimize customer wait times and out of stock products.-Took orders in a fast-paced environment while making sure customers were satisfied by taking orders quickly and packing them correctly. -Followed manager's orders effectively and worked beyond the task I was assigned.
