A true accounting nerd to the core- I get excited about spreadsheets, binders, reconciliations and challenging projects in need of creative answers. I take pride in my ability to strategically think, and anticipate the needs of others given only general facts. I very much enjoyed my time doing tax returns, but have found creating the general ledger is much more fun. My experience has taught me that in order to succeed, both as an employee and as a company, there has to be interdepartmental collaboration and support, a ‘can do’ attitude and the sense that no task is beneath you. I hope to continue to learn new and innovative ideas as I grow, both personally and professionally, into my second decade as a professional accountant.My passion and drive come from a business’ mission, and I've been fortunate enough to feel strongly about the missions of both my current and past employers. My weaknesses include spelling and using the word “I” too many times in this summary paragraph.
