Project Manager for a very busy Telecoms ADC business unit within a large, multi disciplinary organisation. The Firelink project was tasked with delivering a new TETRA WAN to the Fire and Rescue Services across the U.K. Sponsored by the Dept., for Communities and Local Government, the project is part of a £1Billion investment in the fire service by central government. As Regional Delivery Manager, I was successful in delivering the project at a regional level to London Fire Brigade, the third largest fire service in the world.Key Achievements:Cultivating a pragmatic and forward thinking team that delivered the installation of digital communication equipment to LFB's entire fleet of 350+ vehicles, on time and with no impact on operations.Delivering a bespoke control room solution with minimal impact on brigade operational capabilities.Acting as Single Point of Contact for CLG (client), LFB (end user) and the principle contractor.Representing the interests of the Firelink national project at a regional and FRS level, providing expert advice on project issues and contractual constraints to the Regional Project Board Chair.Managing Risks, Issues and Change Control at regional level to ensure minimal impact on FRS operations and to maintain project continuity.Production and implementation of the design review and acceptance process for the project.Production and implementation of the Lessons Learned \ Best Practice process for the project.

Seconded from BT Ireland and acting as clients' agent, I was the national manager responsible for the delivery phase of Ireland's first 100% 3G mobile network.Key Achievements:Building and managing teams tasked with the design, build and integration of the network infrastructure across Ireland.Responsible for delivering against clients' monthly, quarterly and annual targets.Client facing, providing weekly updates on progress in written and verbal form.Engaged on site inspection, ensuring all aspects of design and health & safety criteria were met.

Crown Castle managed telecom and broadcast sites across the U.K., providing infrastructure for all 5 mobile companies plus the BBC.Key Achievements:Forming and developing a team tasked with the design, build and integration of 3rd party equipment onto Crown Castle owned infrastructure.Delivering against clients monthly and annual targets.Generating monthly forecast and "achieved v target" reports for submission to regional and national stakeholders, both in house and for clients.Mentoring of team members, including periodic reviews, motivating, disciplinary actions and team bonding.

Spectrasite Transco managed the infrastructure on behalf of Transco, providing infrastructure for all 5 mobile companies across the UK.Key Achievements:Forming and developing a team tasked with the end to end life cycle of cell deployment onto Spectrasite infrastructure.Client facing role, reporting to regional delivery teams within Orange regional offices across the UK.Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and delivering against set targets.Mentoring of team members, including periodic reviews, motivating, disciplinary actions and team bonding.

Orange became the U.K.'s 4th mobile network in 1994 and continued to build what was, at the time, the fastest growing network in the UK.Key Achievements:Managing the delivery of new build and site share cell sites across the Orange Northern regions. Successfully delivering multiple cell sites against monthly, quarterly and annual targets.Successfully managing multiple contractors and designers to ensure projects were completed to stringent in house time, cost and quality criteria.Responsible for all budgetary aspects of the construction phase of the rollout. Proactively driving the quality and health & safety requirements to ensure risks were minimised.

RPT were a multi discipline engineering company, with projects across the UK and overseas.Key Achievements:Survey and design of mobile telecom sites for Orange PCS Ltd.Management of contractors pre and post contract award on behalf of Orange PCS Ltd.Survey, design and site management for the restoration of historic monuments in Wales on behalf of CADW.

U.K.A.E.A. provided the design arm of the UK's nuclear industry.Key Achievements:4 year draft apprenticeship - award winner in second year.Survey and design of concrete and steel structures.Design and production of concrete and steelwork detailed drawings, via hand and CAD.
