Andy Knowles is a Principal Designer at Firesprite. He possess expertise in game development, ps3, level design, video games, game design and 18 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "I enjoyed the time I worked on a few features with Andy: he's a great worker, very skilled and always very helpful" and "I worked with Andy on a number of projects together whilst at Sony. He has a huge amount of experience across many different genres. There are 2 things that stick in my memory about Andy. 1) "How on earth did you manage to do that!" is a phrase I've used more than once upon seeing the results he got out of some simple systems we provided whether these were scripting or basic event driven systems. Given I had more than 20yrs coding experience at the time, what I was seeing Andy create in such a restricted environment was a testament to his incredible talent. 2) His amazing work ethic. He puts everything in no matter how creative/interesting or down right boring the task is. He'll always do it to the best of his ability and you know you can truly rely on him. He's one of the hardest working people I know and will come up with impressive solutions to any problem you throw at him. I can't recommend him enough, he's the sort of person who makes a game truly come alive and stand out from the rest, just give him the time and tools to work his magic!"
