I spent three years working part time for the University of Minnesota Recycling Program as a Student Recycling Coordinator. In this role, my responsibilities included:- Rolling out and maintaining recycling programs and facilities around the University campus. - Implementing organics recycling across campus. - Helping lead student groups within residence halls to help educate the student body about university recycling.

I interned with Dakota County as a Water Resources Engineering Intern full time for the summer of 2023 and worked part time into the following fall as I resumed school. In this position I:- Designed stormwater management systems for highway reconstruction projects. - Worked on designing detention basins for feasibility analysis on projects for areas of high flow and need for a reduction in peak flows.- Was involved in the Lake Byllesby dam power generation building reconstruction from the owner’s perspective as the county. - Worked to monitored lake water quality within Lebanon Hills Regional Park and Lake Byllesby.

In the summer of 2022 I worked as a GIS Intern for RPU. In this role I: - Helped manage the assets of RPU using GIS software by updating existing maps with incoming information.- Updated outdated information in our databases, along with identification tags in the field for city utilities. - Advanced a citywide water utility map to be able to use tracers for outages and tracking existing water lines within the city. This also included inventorying the existing lead pipes that remained in the city.
