About Avery Redlich

Avery Redlich is a scientist, writer, activist, musician, and friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. She was one of 0.1% of changemakers selected nationally as a 2024 Coca-Cola Scholar, and was also selected as a 2024 Taco Bell Live Más Scholar through her passion for medicine. The youngest HOSA State Officer in Florida history, she represented 14,000 future health professionals on the global stage. Avery founded Tight-Knit, earning her Girl Scout Gold Award by providing dignity and warmth to the homeless and national education with a media reach of 1.1 million people. She is an international Chinese singing champion, PTSD researcher, and Ambassador through United Way. A past Editor-in-Chief and published author, her writing is recognized by The New York Times, The Kenyon Review, and Scholastic Art & Writing, where she is a 27-time awardee. A six-time Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award winner, Avery seeks to serve others. With great power and great responsibility, she is studying Neuroscience, Physics & Philosophy, and Literary Arts on a pre-health track at Brown University.
