Over the years, I have enjoyed doing things with my own dogs form hiking, therapy dog visits, and they pretty much go where ever I do. I found I was dismayed at the availability of quality dog parks, so I wanted to open up an indoor/outdoor dog park. I assisted my dog trainer to gain experience and over time I was able to take over the Bark at the World Pet Sitting business in 2005. In 2020, we opened a new facility for boarding, daycare, grooming and in-home pet sitting. I am the CEO and owner/operator of this amazing free roam facility located in Roxborough, CO.Back in 2004, we didn’t have a boarding facility, so we decided to offer boarding to our customers which is the most popular aspect of what I do. My goal is to soon open a facility to open Bark at the World, Pet Rescue and Grooming.Near the end of 2013, my corporate job was eliminated & that was when I decided to do my pet sitting full time. I only board dogs but I home visit any type of animal.I love animals but I also feel there is a need for people to have comfortable, enjoyable and a vacation for the animals in boarding while they are away. Vacation should be fun for animals as much as it is for the owner. Sitting in a kennel for 20 hours/day is not adequate to me, which is why I do what I do. We have discounts for families that have more than 1 dog.I am a background checked and a certified professional pet sitter through Pet Sitters International. I obtained certification in animal safety, first aid and CPR through Pet Tech. Bark At The World, LLC has liability insurance and the employees are bonded through the Insurance of the Carolinas.
