Managed a team of developers and contractors that maintained multiple systems for the Real-time (X12 270, 271, 276, 277 and 278) exchange between health care providers and insurance companies. The following systems were supported: EDI synchronous processing, EDI batch processing, EDI translation, EDI throttling, POS, reporting tools, reporting persistence stores, automated report distribution, billing persistence stores, MOM, testing tools, operational tools, build and release tools.• SLAs were maintained while EDI volume increased up to 50% per year.• Achieved CAQH CORE and EHNAC certifications.• Improved HA, and horizontal scalability with a shared nothing architecture for EDI processing.• Leveraged Oracle Active DataGuard to achieve HA and DR capability.• Automated failover mechanisms to improve DR capability.• Enhanced service quality by building regression testing tools to test services.• Built a patient responsibility estimator (PRE) which was used in several products.

I played a key role in architecting and developing the banking, loan reversal, and government loan systems of the Real-Synergy and Amicus (Legacy) commercial mortgage servicing applications. Real-Synergy achieved a 35% market share.
