• Creator and maintainer of WWT’s Traffic Jam (a utility virtual router traditionally used in SD-WAN labs).• Lead in the development of the Lab Services “Toolbox” a web application developed in VueJS that provides a single pane of glass for automating tasks.• Developed cli based python tool “testrunner” that automates the collection and organization of network artifacts during regression-based testing.• Develop Ansible playbooks to perform a variety of automated tasks. • Take the complex and vague customer ideas that are focused on network infrastructure and/or automation and make them a reality in the Advanced Technology Center (ATC). This translates to getting assigned to the toughest engagements with the most demanding customers.• Advised Fortune 10 Global Telecommunications company on SD-WAN best practices and how to leverage the ATC for validating their managed service offering prior to rollout to customers. Led to multi-year Lab Services engagement and two additional headcounts for the Lab Services organization.• Developed Ansible playbooks and integrations with Netbox (Source of Truth) to automate the entire build out of said Fortune 10 Global Telecommunication company’s SD-WAN lab environment. This saved an estimated 80 hours of build time, sped up the delivery of results, and created a consistent testbed for each iteration of testing.

• Represent the network practice from an architectural standpoint during the life cycle (scoping, building, execution, and teardown) of a lab services engagement. During this process required to wear many hats: technical SME, technical project manager, troubleshooter, and political navigator.• One of the primary Architects for SD-WAN based lab services engagements in the ATC. Worked with Cisco, VMware Velocloud, Fortinet, Silverpeak, and Meraki on showcasing their SD-WAN products to customers across different verticals.• Co-led lab services engagement for a Fortune 50 Global Financial company in which they evaluated Cisco vs. Arista for their next generation data center switching platform: worked with customer to gather requirements and develop a complete test plan, worked with vendors to ensure they are onboard with test plan, developed project plan, built out test bed environment, assisted vendors with test execution, and finalized documentation for customer consumption.• Presented to executive team, global sales organizations, and global engineering organizations on WWT’s weekly innovation meeting. Topics include how we use Traffic Jam in SD-WAN labs, speeding up documentation through automation, and automating the build out of lab environments.

• Led effort to overhaul network infrastructure of a 182k sq. foot building with active employees: evaluated current needs and projected growth, researched technology options, put proposal together for leadership approval (allocated 1.3m budget), interviewed and selected electrical contractor, developed project plan, and coordinated and executed plan with zero downtime for employees during business hours.• Apart of team that evaluated and developed redesign plan of the datacenter network infrastructure to go from traditional 3 tier to spine/leaf topology.• Designed, configured, and deployed a secure enterprise wireless network that is scalable to meet the growing needs of the company and support BYOD.• Integrated F5 Global Traffic Managers with LTMs for automated virtual server discovery and health checking through big-ip protocol resulting in greater resiliency and better failover.• Lead Network Engineer for Scottrade Bank projects and ongoing support.

• Co-led migration effort off Cisco CSM to F5 LTM load balancers that resulted in minimal downtime. This consisted of implementing F5 deployments in both inline and one-armed modes.• Collaborated with Network Security Team on rollout of 802.1x wired authentication/authorization across campus network infrastructure. • Redesigned and implemented new AAA TACACs+/Radius solution for greater resiliency. Upgraded EOL AAA server to Cisco ACS, created new policies for TACACS+ and radius, placed behind F5 LTM so that servers could be load balanced and health checked, and updated network infrastructure to point to new VIPs.• Performed audits of entire network infrastructure to ensure in compliance with standards.• Tier 3 escalation for network support tickets.
