Current• Contacted UAM Primary Caregivers and other family in COO to collect follow up information and documents for ORR/The Department of State as needed.• Assisted in Quality Assurance task assigned by ORR; Case Review Report consisting in auditing 1500 cases on a weekly basis. • Assisted Lead Unification Specialist in Priority tasks assigned by ORR, including Contacting unreachable cases elevated by the Department of State, Reviewing and correcting data provided by ORR for quality assurance purposes, Cross referencing State Department, ORR, and TPG records to ensure data is up to date and UAM family case status is accurate.• Notified ORR of immediate dangers to a released child’s safety and well-being via Notification of Concern.• Complied with mandatory reporting laws, state licensing requirements, and federal laws and regulations for reporting to local child protective agencies and/or law enforcement.• Oversee and direct the reunification process of assigned cases in Sponsor Services Level 2.• Complete all required assessments by adhering to the Office of Refugee Resettlement policy and procedures in a timely matter.• Participate in weekly staffing with GDIT Coordinator.• Provide release recommendation for minors to sponsors.• Mentored incoming Unification Specialists and provided overview of policies and procedures and systems utilized for reunification.• Oversee and direct the reunification process of assigned cases in Sponsor Services Level 1
