Responsible for the delivery and implementation of all Investment Compliance Solutions products, including GainsKeeper Brokerage and the Corporate Actions Suite of withholding and corporate actions-based solutions.

- Educated prospective clients on system functionality and the data required for accurate tax reporting.- Managed the entire onboarding process of new clients and existing clients seeking additional functionality, from data transmission to testing and eventual deployment in a live production environment.- Wrote functional specifications for and spearheaded the design of both internal tools used by the institutional operations team and external tax reports used by some of the world’s largest mutual and hedge fund companies.

- Worked closely with internal tax specialists, database administrators and system architects to elicit requirements and prepare the necessary documentation for system enhancements and new reporting features.- Worked closely with mutual fund companies to assess current and future tax reporting needs and establish/provide the reports necessary to meet those needs.- Worked closely with third party data providers to ensure the delivery of accurate dividend information and proper use of that information in addressing client needs.- Assisted in the training of colleagues on current GainsKeeper systems and processes.

- Worked closely with mutual fund companies to import, process and reconcile fund transactions and provide accurate wash sale and straddle calculations.- Researched dividend information from a number of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and provided institutional clients with reports detailing the necessary adjustments to taxable income.- Helped maintain a database housing dividend information from a number of vendors, including Mergent, DTCC and Broadridge.- Created documentation on a number of internal processes, including fund transaction processing, report generation, data and reconciliation issues and dividend research.- Researched domestic corporate actions daily using a number of resources including CCH Capital Changes, Bloomberg, Nasdaq and DTC.- Worked closely with internal and external tax specialists to ensure the proper tax treatment of all corporate actions.- Processed corporate action details in GainsKeeper’s internal system to accurately reflect information in both brokerage and institutional client accounts.- Answered brokerage client inquiries regarding corporate actions and other general account issues.
