Responsible for technical decision-making on behalf of the client and coordination of internal resources as required.• Providing mentoring and technical advice to a portfolio of small nonprofit arts organizations as part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Accelerator Program. Projects under advisement range from IT infrastructure upgrades to innovative broadcast and audience participation solutions.• Acted as Interim CTO for the MedicAlert Foundation from November 2020 through April 2021. Evaluated infrastructure for security and scalability, as well as fit with needs. Recommended and enacted changes to IT operating model. Identified short-term resources to meet support needs until new team was in place. Selected and contracted a new managed IT services vendor, and assisted in onboarding the new CTO.

Duties included process design and improvement, project management, internal relationship management, and management of the training team for a nationwide business process transformation initiative.• Responsible for negotiating and organizing the transition of back office functions from offices nationwide to the new service center.• Leader of the training group for the service center, which was responsible for training program development, training delivery, and change management to prepare for the addition of new processes.

Greater New York City Area

Member of team hired to build a new financial services consulting practice. In addition to consulting, responsibilities included aiding in the design of intellectual property and packaged service offerings.Representative client work:• Developed merchant sales materials and statistical product adoption models for a proposed new coalition loyalty offering from American Express.• Developed technology and vendor selection strategy for the wealth management offering of CIBC, a large Canadian bank and brokerage.

Greater New York City Area

Part of a practice group focused on retail financial services. Responsibilities included project delivery, development of methodologies, and marketing of services.Representative client work:• Manager of IT process improvement project for JPMorgan Chase Card Services. Solutions were framed in the context of potential Six Sigma project charters.• Created the service process manual and training materials for the launch of a new online-only bank from American Express.

San Francisco Bay Area

Responsible for planning the market positioning of a new caching and load balancing solution for Internet servers. The product was effectively an early cloud architecture solution, bringing new capabilities and efficiencies to high volume web sites and web services.

Greater Denver Area

Lead position on customer support team with a rapidly evolving Internet service provider. Duties included resolution of escalated issues, systems administration and management of service process improvement initiatives.
