For the past 8 years, I have been enjoying a growing career in sales. Having worked within a few different industries, I have seen and enjoyed the common bond between them… relationships. Through a dedication to help and work with people, we are able to move past numbers on a spreadsheet, and form genuine, long-lasting relationships. Not only does this make my job in sales more enjoyable, but it grows brand recognition and loyalty, and long-term, happy customers and clients. I started my career in the golf industry. Traveling the eastern United States, we visited high-end golf clubs to work with their membership. Not only were we able to help them by fitting them with custom golf clubs, but through small lessons, we were able to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of the game.From there, I got into direct B2B sales with bearings, gears, motors, etc. I have covered the Southeast and as far west as Colorado. These sales positions were rewarding because each day would produce new challenges and opportunities. One day may involve forestry cranes and excavators, the next could’ve seen robotics or bottling. I am able to see success in these positions not only in terms of revenue and bottom line numbers, but the long-lasting relationships that are still strong today.
