I am a Instructional Designer with over 35 years of experience working in risk identification and mitigation, team building and team collaboration serving in the U.S. Military. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Public Safety from Vincennes University and a Master of Education in Learning Technologies from The Ohio State University. I have been trained and certified in several impactful areas from the Department of Defense to include small Uncrewed Aircraft System (sUAS), Physical Security Manager which includes physical, operational, and information security, and Master Resiliency. I am also a Department of Defense certified Common Faculty Development Instructor along with an instructional background and certifications in small group instruction. Before joining BPS, my experience includes a position on the staff for Ohio State’s TransformED: The Creative Educator Academy pilot program. I was responsible for co-creating educational content, surveys, schedules, and e-Learning modules to help professional educators learn innovative ways to utilize new technology to solve educational problems.
