Dan is a writer, editor and creative consultant with over 10 years experience in the worlds of architecture, interiors, and branding—working with some of the biggest names in design and design media.Until December 2020 he served as Editorial Director for MINI Business Innovation, a future-focused strategy division within the BMW Group. This role involved a senior position at design center A/D/O by MINI, where Dan developed and oversaw the initiative's digital media platform, and helped to steer its content creation and curatorial direction. It later encompassed leading marketing and communications for tech startup accelerator URBAN-X.In his previous role at online magazine Dezeen, Dan set-up and ran the company's New York office, following positions as Style Editor, Design Editor and Deputy Editor in London. During this time, he gained valuable experience in journalism, team management, social media, and digital communications.Dan's writing has featured in several books from internationally renowned publishers, including Gestalten and Rizzoli, and magazines like Departures, Cultured, and Oak.
