Lead a team of 2 Manufacturing Engineers and 3 Technicians establishing target metrics for the group aligned with key initiatives.The scope of the position has a focus on developing solutions to process related issues utilizing appropriate tools including lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, control plans, flow charts, among others and providing daily oversight of all aspects of the factory, such as procedural development, process and business strategies, and staff recruitment/training.Specific responsibilities include managing new product and process development, sustaining engineering, budget development, and staffing strategies for a factory manufacturing cutting edge fiber lasers and amplifiers.
