First-class honours Biochemistry Graduate from the University of Bath. Experience working internationally in laboratory research at academic institutions, hospitals and pharmaceuticals companies, as well as global knowledge of the Life Science industry (pharmaceuticals, biotech and medtech). Also have experience outside of the lab being client facing with strong business acumen that I have honed whilst working as life science executive search consultant.Currently completing a four year collaboration PhD project looking at further understanding the HIV-1 lentiviral vector system. A main focus of characterising the surface glycoproteins of HIV-1 to generate a vector system that allows sufficient transduction in vivo to CD4+ T cells. This will allow genetic modification of these cells to express chimeric antigen receptors (CAR-T cells) and ultimately their use in cancer treatment.Lover of all things science.
