Designed HIV-1 enveloped lentiviral vectors capable of transducing specifically CD4+ T cells within PBMC populations to create CAR-T cells. Isolated CD4+ T cells and modified them to become CAR-T cells with my vector. Using the engineered CAR-T cells I co-cultured them with cancer cell lines to test efficacy.Cloned a Bacterial Artificial Chromosome (BAC) to contain plasmids normally used in transient transfection. From the polyclonal pool generated, isolated a single clone to generate an inducible cell line that can easily manufacture highly infectious lentiviral vectors. Show less

After completion of the laboratory side of a DEEPN run, data was then processed using various computer programs. To test viability of a DEEPN run, spot assays were also conducted and western blots were run to check for protein expression and self-activation in the yeast strains.
