In a role that unfortunately faced redundancy, Daniel took on a multifaceted position, contributing significantly to elevating project deliveries and driving improvement on a national scale. His responsibilities included educating the SHEQ team to enhance the quality of various project deliveries and providing guidance to construction teams nationwide. He played a pivotal role in analyzing data from sources such as the NHBC and our management service department. This involved identifying key opportunities for improvement, demonstrating a keen ability to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets. As part of his role, he served as both a project manager and a working group member on critical initiatives. Notable examples include finding solutions to ensure compliance with incoming Part L of the building regulations, enhancing O&M manuals, and strategically reviewing and redesigning site signage. Conducting thorough site quality audits was a crucial aspect of his responsibilities, ensuring that construction methods and associated detailing of dwellings under construction strictly adhered to relevant statutory requirements. Throughout this role, he acted as the subject matter expert for the business in terms of construction quality. This involved providing valuable support to various senior stakeholders and working groups, showcasing his commitment to excellence and expertise in the field.
