Responsibilities in my last role as a pension administrator predominantly consist of settling client’s pension policies. This involves following the business processes, whilst closely working with the client, independent financial advisors and Trustees in Bankruptcy, as applicable. During my time in this role, I have gained vital industry experience, including expanding my knowledge on Management Information & work flow management systems thus allowing me to utilise these skills in my day to day activities. Proactive in managing my own self development, I have taken on additional responsibilities to further my business experience. These include: training of existing and new members of staff, becoming the key focal for customer complaints within my team and assisting with the coordination of department IT incidents such as printer faults and corrupt spreadsheets. Most recently, I have participated in the rollout of a new application which is essential to our everyday role. This has given me the opportunity to be introduced to project lifecycles and their processes. In addition, I have also taken on extra management responsibilities by covering for my current team manager when required, distribution of work load across the team and focal for quality control.
