We see the process through from locating turn of the century homes,on the verge of demolition to complete restoration. As our business, we don't flip as normal flippers do. We try to recreate the integrity and beauty of the original home while making it functional to the modern day. It takes us a little longer to recreate the home with this approach but believe in the responsibility of preservation and a sound and unique product. I began in Visitor Services in November 2015. In November 2017 I was given the opportunity to start a new department from scratch at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture. For the first time in the museum's history, I had to integrate a working restaurant system that used and was approved under state funding criteria. Job criteria includes:*Hiring, managing, following through, and maintaining a team environment*Meeting and managing goals of the director and board in a practical way*Following state paperwork, expectations, and criteria*Stay on top of training of both myself and staff*Build a working rotating menu/food prep/minimize food waste while keeping food fresh*Inventory and ordering*Guest service*By the beginning of January the cafe was officially declared a working self-sufficient departmentThe past couple of years I also help facilitate events at the museum. During this time I also brought an event idea to the administration, Zombie Prom, that focused on raising money during our featured exhibit at the time, Z Nation. Upon approval I successfully saw everything through from budget, to projected analysis, to a successful completion where we were able to raise money for the museum. Since its success I have helped successfully collaborate with other team members the following events:*Titanic Third Class Bash*Artfest, our largest grossing and attended event of the year*Third Thursdays, a unique event that focuses on late night events every Thursday at the museum*Dear Nat Big Band Bash

I started as a relief staff at Excelsior Youth Center until August 2013. In October 2014 I was rehired to help lead a new program in the state of Washington that offered mental health and community services to chronically homeless youth transitioning to adults. The program gave 12 beds to members of the community while our team worked together to reintegrate clients by taking initial paperwork working with the client in a person centered program. My job set included: *Helped do intake paperwork and establish client goals under a harm reduction model*Located and filed state paperwork*Completed facility paperwork as required by the state*Implemented a holistic living environment*Helped teach and coach life skills*Facilitated resources including job placement, housing solutions, and long term mental health resources*Wrote and put in place new curriculum for the state of Washington in an effort to divert emergency hospitalization resources that focused on long term stability

I was promoted to supervisor after three months of working for the company.
