Clinical Systems Analyst
CurrentResponsible for integration of Clinical Information Systems into the overall Hospital Information System to include planning, and organizing, support service activities. Serves as liaison between MMH departments, Information Services, Physicians, Physician Office Staff, vendors, and Corporate Information Services. Provides problem tracking, resolution, and education to MHS physician, mid-levels, residents and medical students. Responsible for the daily operations of and providing user support for approved enterprise applications. Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone calls relating clinical applications, and networking issues. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to end-users and providers, coordinate communication between UHS Corporate analysts and/or system vendor for troubleshooting of system failures. Capabilities to include analyze, interpret, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting application failure on facility owned workstations using deductive reasoning skills. Develop and oversee database access to clinical systems based on level of access appropriate to their role. Clinical analyst must be able to maintain confidentiality, work independently, pro-actively, and productively with little to no supervision. Demonstration of the ability to multi-task and show exceptional organizational skills. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
