Deputy Division Director-Office Of Professional Responsibility
CurrentMr. Mann is the Deputy Division Director, Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), with the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). He oversees and manages all investigations regarding employee misconduct, fraud, and waste and abuse to ensure agency integrity and positive organizational performance. As a collateral responsibility, he also serves as a protective service agent providing executive level dignitary protection for senior level Department of Defense officials during international travel. Mr. Mann has served in the Federal Government for over twenty-eight years, beginning with the Defense Protective Service (DPS) before that agency transitioned to the PFPA. He is currently the longest serving, homegrown special agent in PFPA history (and previously DPS). Prior to entering Federal Civil Service, he was a police officer with the Hampton Virginia Police Department. During his extensive law enforcement career, he held numerous key positions including patrol officer, field-training officer, law enforcement instructor, training coordinator, critical incident negotiator, protective service agent, special agent, supervisory special agent, and special agent in charge.
