To co-ordinate the work of the Key Deal Alignment team with their Quoting Operations and Key Deal Management counterparts in an effort to help the Quoting Operations team run more efficiently.

Processing all quotes for the UK and Ireland and working with Quoting Operations and Key Deal Management counterparts to maintain an efficient service for Sales and Order Operations. This would include all the responsibilities held as a Deal Desk Analyst.

In September of 2009 as part of a restructuring at Deal Desk I was given responsibility for all mid-market quotes (value of less than$100,000) for UK/Ireland, Benelux, Nordics, Eastern Europe and Africa. The main responsibilities are:• Protect VSOE. Insure that all deals fall within VSOE restrictions and help sales with discount restructuring when necessary and provide alternative options when restructuring the discount is not sufficient.• Provide sales with a response to all quotes… Show more In September of 2009 as part of a restructuring at Deal Desk I was given responsibility for all mid-market quotes (value of less than$100,000) for UK/Ireland, Benelux, Nordics, Eastern Europe and Africa. Insure that all deals fall within VSOE restrictions and help sales with discount restructuring when necessary and provide alternative options when restructuring the discount is not sufficient.• Provide sales with a response to all quotes within 24 hours and processing time of 72 hours.• Gather approvals from necessary departments outside Deal Desk when required e.g. Pradip Shukla for support, Tom Ruiter for future start dates.• Provide cover for the rest of mid-market or enterprise deals when other team members are on leave• Process revenue review documents on enterprise deals after quarter end to insure deals are been accounted for correctly and check for possible VSOE issues on processed dealsIn December 2007 I joined the EMEA Deal Desk team. Since that time my key responsibilities are:• Review and processing of all quotes for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Africa• Backup Deal Desk contact for the UK, Ireland, Eastern Europe and the Middle East• Upfront revenue calculations on all Deals greater than $200,000• Insuring all submitted quotes fall within VSOE tolerances• Re-structuring of quotes to set correct levels of customer expectation for pricing on future renewals.• Quarterly review of large deals to calculate how much upfront revenue was invoiced from the previous quarter.• Support Sales in the structuring of deals with key emphasis in allocation of discount and term length• Processing of contracts between McAfee and Distributors or direct customers.
