SUMMARY OF POSITION:To deliver an efficient warehouse/stores operation for the Company’s two UK brands – VELFAC and Rationel - to enable an outstanding after sales service. Both brands supply high specification windows and doors into the UK commercial and domestic markets with a combined turnover of approximately 75million GBP per annum in the UK.The Warehouse/Stores Manager will be responsible for stock control, deliveries and despatching of parts to our customer base comprising consumers, contractors and distributors; as well as supporting the 6 regional offices throughout the UK.OVERVIEW OF TASKS: Ensure communal inboxes are effectively managed Maintain stock levels in line with our business needs Coordinate stock orders, and arrange outbound deliveries Raise supply orders and approve invoices Arrange inbound deliveries, unloading and checking goods Provide product/parts support and advice to customers, distributors and key stakeholders Monitor, develop and introduce new processes to ensure optimum efficiency Develop local supply chain at competitive prices Manage warehouse facilities Manage the training facility, including supporting the wider organisation in delivering product training Manage the show trailer including checking on return from, and preparing for, exhibitions Ensure excellent health & safety practices and culture Develop KPIs and report at weekly meeting Collate and report key data and make an active contribution at regular meetings Manage the warehouse team to ensure they meet the needs of the UK business by delivering the best possible customer service Carry out staff appraisals and implement training and development plans Develop the warehouse/stores function in line with the company’s growth plans and provide excellent support to the After Sales Director Actively participate in the Company’s quality initiatives and implement accordingly

Role responsibilitiesWarehouse Supervisor * Ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with the standard operating procedures* Issue staff workloads and ensure that all duties are carried out within the required time frames* Ensuring all documentation is completed within the required time frames* Ensuring the warehouse key performance standards are met* Ensuring all the warehouse operations are compliant with health and safety regulations* Ensuring the general appearance of the warehouse and external areas are kept tidy* Managing inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities.As a small business other business activities may require support or co-ordination from time-to-time.

• To organise all warehouse activities according to deadlines• To ensure all warehouse personnel are in and all duties are covered• To ensure all company procedures are implemented and maintained• General housekeeping duties• To communicate and report to the Managing Director any issues that may develop • To provide the right instructions to warehouse personnel• To check that all duties are covered and completed accurately• To monitor warehouse personnel and identify training needs• To take full ownership of the work, warehouse personnel and all the responsibilities attached to the level of the position• To attend Monthly meetings• To handle any other projects as requested by the company

• Responsible for the scheduling and progressing of each departments work load• To ensure the smooth flow of work between each department including picking, packing, cutting, inspection and export.• To provide reports on delivery performance and Monthly outputs.• To attend meetings and provide information on each departments Daily workload and identify any potential issues/delays.• The ability to stay calm under pressure

• To Supervise 4 Team Leaders and approximately 20 operatives.• To ensure all warehouse personnel are in and all duties are covered• To organise all warehouse activities according to deadlines• To communicate and report to the Operations Manager any issues that may develop
