27 years at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Currently assigned as Lieutenant over the Narcotics Investigation Section. During my career I have worked 4 years on Patrol, 8 years as a Narcotics Detective and 5 years as a Homicide Detective. As a Sergeant I supervised the Crime Suppresion Team and General Crimes for about 6-8 months, then over 4 years as the Sergeant over Homicide Unit before being promoted to Lieutenant. As Lieutenant I oversaw a Patrol Shift for about 4 months before taking over the Major Crimes Lieutenant position for close to 5 years. I’m currently assigned to Narcotics Section.
