Under my current role, I am helping to lead the research and outreach efforts of OurBrainBank, a patient-led movement dedicated to moving glioblastoma from terminal to treatable. We have launched a nationwide survey to demystify the quality of care for GBM patients and will use the data collected to demand better care for GBM patients and their families. In my previous role, as a research supervisor at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), I supported the clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in the Division of Hospital Medicine Research, aiming to improve the medical care of vulnerable pediatric populations. I managed research projects, conducted statistical analyses, and fostered stakeholder relationships, contributing to advancing evidence-based practices and policies. With an MA in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and over four years of research experience in various settings, I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis, IBM SPSS, and statistics. I have leveraged neuroimaging and electrophysiology to study neurovascular injury, plasticity of neural connections, and neurodegenerative disease. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to address complex and impactful research questions and challenges.
