Solving problems, creating art, and connecting with people sparks joy in me. I break down complex systems into their fundamentals, and I add my own touch to them. Usually, that means I'm coding as well.During my education at Rice, I applied both my software development skills and my passion for understanding complex systems back to the human brain, arguably the most complex system of all. In addition to studying algorithms, object-oriented programming, and computer security, I also learned applied mathematics and machine-learning models. With a deeper understanding of today's technologies and humanity as a whole, I'm entering the industry with a drive to solve more problems, break down more complex systems, and understand more about how they tick. Hopefully, I'll be coding as well :)My specialties include learning new skills and adapting to new programming languages. Currently, I default to Python, Java, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript, although my toolbox also contains C/C++ (and even a little K!) I'm picking up Rust and Haskell on the side, and I have every intention to pick up as many languages, frameworks, and programming principles as can fit inside my head.
