The most awesome side gig ever! I help to provide a unique cinema experience for our guests for hosting events. Great memories are made here!!Events I host include Movie Parties, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tea Time, Cookies & Crafts, Family Parties, AniMonday, Fantastic Majestic, Soundtrack Sundays, Private Events, movie marathons (like the Shyamalanathon), Slumber Party Cinema - whatever event we dream up, I can host it! What does hosting mean? Most of the time, it includes my cohost and I getting into costumes that relates to the movie, organizing and distributing props / activity bags / memorabilia, greeting guests as they arrive, emceeing before the start of the movie to explain what is happening, being interactive during the movie or event, thanking everyone as they leave, and cleaning up. Another fun part of this job is filming movie introductions and promos for upcoming events. These promos are posted on social media and shown as bumpers before other movies to promote things like specific Movie Parties or general ongoing events, like Cookies & Crafts / Family Parties. In addition, I recently took on the role of propmaster - which means my fellow propmaster and I are responsible for ordering props, doing inventory of props, organizing props and distributing them to the appropriate locations before events take place.

I have supervised up to a 12-desk office, while maintaining my sales and recruiting activities.
