Led high-level software design choices within our infrastructure, and also designing, developing and supporting our new and existing products. This also included oversight of our end-to-end data-processing flow, using our in-house tracking system. I provided technical and feature consultation across departments within the company, and performed a lot of R&D. Achievements:- Designed and developed a bespoke CMS (React, Node.js) for the PPC team, optimised for user conversions across 90 countries- Built a user-configurable data ingestion API in Typescript to normalise CSV reports downloaded from affiliate portals- Built custom tools for the commercial team, to automate revenue optimisation based on historic partner performance- Developed “reverse ETL” solutions to integrate our data infrastructure with third-party platforms- Improved our CI/CD processes with Github Actions (Docker, Bash), to ship features quickly and reliably

Worked as part of a small agile team, taking an affiliate management product from concept to MVP, ready for investment pitch. Leveraged the GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to build a suite of microservices. Key achievements:- Built a end-to-end affiliate management APIs in Node.js and deployed to App Engine- Developed and maintained a dashboard in Vue.js and Vuetify to communicate with those APIs, and to accelerate team workflows- Built and maintained APIs with Typescript and Node.js, Rolled out a custom event-tracking solution in Typescript, with data stored in BigQuery. Visualised that data using Chart.js- Developed a series of Cloud Functions using Node.js and Python

Worked as a member of the “Site Build” squad, innovating and refining project architecture. Took sites from design to live, and led discussions on introducing a CMS to eliminate tech reliance to update content. Achievements:- Ran Vue.js workshops to help upskill team members within the department- Led white label project discussions and incrementally improved architecture- Built a PHP templating engine to speed up tech delivery- Integrated Vue.js/Nuxt into white label to enhance DX- Produced interactive widgets for our portfolio of sites to increase engagement and conversion

Achievements: - Built a website for a top 5 UK dealership, styled using LESS and functionality implemented with Javascript- Built internal automation tools to improve DX experience- Sped up common site maintenance tasks with a Chrome extension- Automated sprite sheet creation, and image ratio cropping via ActionScript scripts for Photoshop- Built a Sublime Text plugin in Python to visualise SVN actions - later re-written in Javascript for VS Code- Mentored interns who went on to become full-time employees after graduation- Built LEVC WordPress site leading up to the launch of their electric line-up- Led a team to complete the migration of our websites to the mobile-first standard
