Responsible for daily administrative and management of the National Esoteric Reference Laboratory. Develop strategy, proposal and plans to internalize referred testing to National Esoteric Reference Laboratory. Responsible for all budgetary performance for NERL including expenses and budgeting, workflow and productivity, evaluation and selection of new analyzer systems and assays. Responsible for quality and regulatory compliance, including CAP accreditation, for reference laboratory.PAML was acquired in 2017 by LabCorps.

Led development of system approach to laboratory medicine with three local hospitals, creating core laboratory and resulting synergies thereby reducing costs for the member hospitals. Responsible for the P&L for this Joint Venture between PAML, Kadlec Health System, Trios Health and Lourdes Healthcare.

Led test migration from hospitals to centralized outreach, esoteric, and molecular joint ventured laboratory. Exceeded plan for concomitant cost reduction from consolidation by nearly 50% ($7.7MM vs. $4MM plan). Ensured CAP and JCAHO accreditation for all hospital locations. Supported patient safety and medical quality safety initiatives.

Responsible for the direct oversight of all laboratory operations (phlebotomy, pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical) including quality, production, medical accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
