TeachTheFuture Foundation (TTFF) is an official 501(c)(3) non profit organization that I co-founded in the summer of 2013. TTFF is dedicated to providing education to those in impoverished areas around the world by building schools. In 2016, we accomplished our first goal of building a school in Kenya.Mutanda Girls High School is an all girls high school that we fundraised and built in Sultanhamud, Kenya. • Provides 200 girls every year access to a fully functional school with desks, chairs, laptops, cameras, chemistry labs, qualified & motivated teachers, and a vast range of extracurriculars from student government to dance teams.• A district officer named the school & its facilities as “one of the best [schools] we’ll see for the next 45 years”• While in Kenya, we were invited to schools across Kenya as motivational guest speakers• Directed a film to illustrate the impact that a school can have in the lives of children in KenyaIn order to raise funds for Mutanda Girls High School, we organized numerous events. Here are a few:• Worked with professional e-sports players to create a viral fundraiser that reached 18 million viewers, raising $10,000 in 24 hours• Ran a coin drive at 4 elementary schools and spoke to over 2400 student about the importance of education• Spent over 193 hours going door to door to over 2,432 houses • Spoke at Stanford University to professors about the need for promoting educational equity in developing countries • Increased our outreach through high school chapters across the Bay Area for students asking to get involved in the TTFF movementRecognition and media attention for TeachTheFuture Foundation.• Interviewed by Larry Walling on 1170 AM Hearts for Africa Radio Station• Spoke at the Future Business Leaders of America’s Leadership Development Institute to over 118 high school students about the Art of Selling• Featured on Siliconeer magazine reaching 300 major stores across the U.S
