I lead Third Derivative's carbon removal program, First Gigaton Captured. Founded by RMI and New Energy Nexus, Third Derivative is accelerating the rate of climate innovation through our inclusive ecosystem approach, which rapidly finds, funds, and scales climate tech globally.

Ebb Carbon is pioneering a new method of atmospheric carbon dioxide removal that uses electrochemistry to enhance the ocean’s natural ability to safely store CO2, while reducing ocean acidity. The approach has the potential to be one of the safest, scalable and affordable ways to remove excess CO2 from our atmosphere.

Pano offers a next-gen wildfire situational awareness intelligence platform that helps fire authorities, utilities, and community organizations respond to wildfires before they are destructive. Combining disparate data feeds including proprietary mountaintop cameras and geostationary satellites, the Pano platform includes deep learning AI to provide actionable insights.

Worked on both qualitative and quantitative projects to support clients in strategic planning and project execution across several industries. Major projects include writing the 10-year business plan for a major government organization, shaping a viable renewable energy growth strategy for a utility, creating an EV market entry strategy for an electronics company, and designing a best-in-class business development process for an aerospace and defense company.

Worked as a member of RMI's mobility team during a secondment with BCG. The goal of the mobility team is to accelerate the change to a low-carbon transportation system by studying and influencing the EV grid and its associated policies and technologies.

Worked alongside a BCG Digital Ventures team to support a client's digital innovation project

Major contributions to cost-benefit analysis and cost allocation methodology projects, working directly with senior staff and clients.

Created and led an after-school program for middle school girls to engage in exciting science activities.

Worked in the watershed protection division to support programs bringing rain barrels, permeable pavement, and other flood protection materials to low-income DC residents.

Investigated and educated on a program that provided solar panels to low-income DC residents.

Compiled research and reported on variety of sustainability programs and initiatives for resource-constrained communities both in DC and throughout the country. Published work is available at https://www.mwcog.org.

Researched differences between IGG subclass concentrations in humans and the rhesus macaque (monkey used for medical testing). Significant differences in concentrations indicate a more tenuous link between medical test results and actual drug impacts.

Spoke with area residents and educated children on how to better care for the Anacostia River. Visited summer camps, canvased downtown, and spoke at a concert to 10,000+ people.
