Hired to be lead architect on a team of eight developers across the US. Installed an Enterprise TFS solution to maintain all code repositories and track all technical work efforts. Created a custom migration tool to bring all history from the previous system into TFS. Orchestrated the developer lifecycle workflow within TFS. Drove use of TFS to better understand change management and improvement in the quality of releases by use of the workflow within Prospect.Architected performance and process changes to the primary application across the enterprise for originating billions of dollars in mortgage loans and managing very large amounts of related data. Changes were driven by adding logging to the existing codebase to understand slower performing sections. Improvements were in streamlining business processes, altering how data was stored in memory, database query optimization, and simplifying method calls. Used metrics to show how code changes to the system had exceeded performance goals.Worked closely with technical teams, business leaders, and senior management on business objectives, technical obstacles, and identifying key components to be prioritized. Established coding best practices, standard libraries, and common logging. Lobbied for and received budget to get developers the latest environments and the same tooling. Interfaced with over 30 external vendors for sharing and receiving data via WCF and flat files. Came up to speed quickly on Mulesoft and utilizing the API to create better workflows and system integrations at better scale.Took ownership of the code release process and made it simpler, repeatable, and possible for any developer to deploy code to production accurately and quickly across 24 servers. Worked with consultants and senior engineers to identify difficult and complex areas that needed to be simplified or improved.

Learned the syntax and strategies utilizing QuickTest Pro without assistance from other team members. Created test scripts that decreased the time and number of testers needed to perform regression testing.Developed a Centralized Logging System that accepted feeds from heterogeneous systems via MSMQ or SQL Server. Included configuration-based logging without need for re-compiling existing .Net web applications. Created a UI in ASP.Net to view and manage logs.Created internal templates using CSS and jQuery to follow Wells Fargo’s re-branding of internal websites using a common set of resources and design strategies. These templates were then incorporated into existing solutions within the group.

Started as a collector of car loans at Wells Fargo while attending college. Created some simple ways to manage more than a dozen binders of business information by converting them to HTML to allow for quicker use and a single source of truth. This led to an opportunity within a Management Information Systems team tasked with providing up-to-the-minute information to senior management and users on the floor. Working with a mentor, I created a fully customizable dashboard with charts and dynamic HTML to provide timely insights and workflow assistance. Using a SQL Server database and ASP.Net web forms, we were tasked with automating and modernizing dozens of business processes that allowed for the consolidation of more than 100 jobs and more than $120 MM in savings.Introduced agile methodologies to the business unit, and it yielded great returns with a better understanding of how we work and what they needed to succeed.
