I am a second-year Marketing Major at Miami University Farmer School of Business, seeking an internship for the summer of 2025 in or around Dayton, Ohio. I live in Centerville, Ohio, a suburb south of Dayton. My first semester in the fall of 2023, I made the Dean's List. As a second-year business student, I have continued to develop my public speaking and presentation skills. The classes at Farmer have advanced my proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Python, and SQL. In the spring, I took part in Miami’s Client Challenge, a team-based project where we conducted research and presented a solution to a client. Throughout this experience, I gained valuable skills in teamwork, data analysis, collaboration, offering recommendations, and public speaking.Prior to this school year I have worked in many different spaces such as Sweeney's Seafood, Circa for the Home, House/Pet sitting, and most recently Brackman Lawn and Landscaping. I have learned a lot about understanding and practicing customer relations from working in these various environments. From welcoming customers as a host and getting to know regulars personally or working for a client at their own home on construction and landscaping projects. This past summer, while working for Brackman Lawn and Landscaping, I learned a lot about hard work. As well as the business side of things, such as sales and building and maintaining professional relationships, that I will take with me when evaluating future business decisions.In the next couple of years as an undergraduate student, I look forward to continuing my understanding of business. This includes marketing, sales, and any other opportunities I am presented with through Miami University's classes and organizations. I am excited to further my education outside of campus through an internship for the summer of 2025.
