•Assist three supervising attorneys in preparing various immigration applications for Franco-Gonzalez class members including Asylum, Withholding of Removal and Convention Against Torture, Motions, and Briefs for the Los Angeles Immigration Court. •Conduct legal and factual research on country conditions, direct evidence, and declarations to support client’s immigration case with either United States Citizenship and Immigration Services or Executive Office of Immigration Review. •Provide interpretation services in Spanish and correspond with non-Spanish interpreters to provide adequate services for clients. •Conduct intake interviews with clients and gather information necessary for immigration relief screenings.

•Collaborated with Supervising Attorneys to manage administrative tasks including processing payments and invoices, supervise incoming employees, organize data for Acacia Center for Justice, and implement and maintain company protocols. •Worked alongside 3 Supervising Attorneys to assist in preparing immigration applications including Asylum, Withholding of Removal and Convention Against Torture, Employment Authorization Documents, U-Nonimmigrant Status and Appeals to the Board of Immigration. •Translated declarations, birth certificates, and other official, Spanish documents for monolingual, Spanish-Speaking clients.

•Collaborate with Career Services and Alumni Affairs to develop, market, and lead events with topics including Professional Development/Alumni Affairs, Admissions/Recruitment, and Student Engagement. •Spearheaded wellness event with over 90+ attendees and arranged for an animal therapy organization to co-host. •Organize Excel databases of 10,000+ students to update UCLA-wide Salesforce and Council on Education for Public Health accreditation process on a quarterly basis. •Create graphics for student events, networking nights, and professional development opportunities using Canva.

•Partake in a series of academies through participation in workshops, panels and mock law classes by UCLA Law Faculty. •Selected as 1 of 100 participants from a pool of 400-500 applicants.

•Collaborated with fellows and attorneys to assist Self-Represented litigants with Request for Orders (RFO’s), Paternity, and Child Custody and Visitation Orders through individual or informational workshops of 4-10 people.•Translated declarations for Spanish-Speaking litigants, reaching 91% of litigants at the Self-Help center, the largest publicly-funded center in Los Angeles.•Dedicated 300+ of service over the course of 10 consecutive months.
