I'm a storytelling professional with a passion to help others achieve what may seem impossible. For Vote Run Lead and Vote Run Lead Action, I lead fund development and narrative for a fast-growing c3/c4 pair of organizations that have an ambitious goal to see a reflective 51% women in statehouses -- making the U.S. more equitable for all. I recently led the organization's application to MacKenzie Scott's Yield Giving Open Call, winning $2mm, and our most recent Impact Report won the highest honor at the 2024 Communicator Awards, the Award of Excellence, in the category of “Content & Marketing: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.” I also oversee all content in my nonprofit communications business, Fine Point Consulting, where I've earned more than $40 million for clients through grants and contracts ranging from a few hundred dollars to millions.I'm an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and director whose work has been produced across the country. I won "Best Scriptwriter" for my short film SKY BURIAL at the La Femme International Short Film Festival, and the Chicago Tribune said of my play "rarely is storefront theater executed so well."
