Staff Geologist for St. Louis FUSRAP Sites

Responsible for coordinating and managing projects, interacting with agencies and clients, evaluating investigation data, preparing investigation reports, developing remedial alternatives, preparing remedial action plans, preparing ambient air monitoring plans, overseeing investigation and remedial actions, and preparing and presenting remedial action and corrective action completion reports for submittal to agencies. Work on a wide range of project sites to include refineries, manufacturing plants, former manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites, leaking UST sites, offshore platforms, and various other commercial and industrial facilities. Perform field work and conduct site investigations to delineate the extent of impact. Working with several drilling and direct-push methods, conduct soil and groundwater sampling, perform aquifer pump tests and slug tests, and evaluate aquifer characteristics. Experience working with many state agencies, but most recently the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). Worked with enforcement sections such as RCRA and LUST branches as well as sections that include Voluntary Cleanup Programs (VCP), Site Remediation Programs (SRP), Risk-Based Corrective Actions (RCBA), and Tier Approach to Cleanup Objectives (TACO).
