I have been working for Ultimate Building Maintenance for the last eight years, the first three years in; My duties include to clean, mop, polish and wax tile floors as well as steam-clean carpets.

I wrote graphical user interface (GUI) using Python programming language used to automatically integrate architectural blocks into a processing platform. This was written to save time and avoid errors such that scientists can define a system without intimate knowledge of hardware engineering. This internship culminated in a poster presentation.

I participated in a 10-week internship during my sophomore year where I assisted in the design and implementation of an interlock device. This device was to be used in one of the ion sources of the Argonne Tandem Linac Accelerator System (ATLAS). This internship culminated in a power point presentation.
